Why Sponsorship is Important
Fraser Tech Hockey Club has rapidly expanded over the last five years, resulting in five adult league teams.
Running a sports club incurs a lot of costs, examples of overheads incurred during the 2019/2020 season are; $8,000 in fuel expenses, $4,000 for in-league-mandated match teas and $15,000+ for coaching for both our Junior and Senior sections.
Following the uncertainty that 2020 has given us, it has highlighted how important sport is to our mental health, wellbeing and happiness. As a club, we want to increase the level of sponsorship and fundraising we draw in to create a more sustainable approach to the way our club is run. This will allow us to ride out a potentially turbulent season 2020/21 and come out the other side a stronger and more robust club.
