Normal rules of hockey applies other than what has been listed below.
- Ages from Year 9 to Adult.
- 25-minute halves – 5-minute half time
- The ball may be hit (slap hit, tomahawks or hit) anywhere on the field as long as done safely.
- There are NO Penalty corners, Penalty corner offences will result in a Penalty Shootout to be taken. General Penalty Shootout rules apply. 16 awarded if shootout missed or timed out. Halfway restart if shootout scored:
- Time limit 8-seconds
- GK in Goal
- Attacker at 23
- All other players out of view of GK between the 23 and halfway.
- Umpires to restart game following shootout with a 16-yard hit or a goal awarded.
- A long corner is always awarded if a defender puts the ball over the back line (Intentional or not). Taken from the 23yd line in line where the ball crossed the baseline.
